2000 was my last power lifting competition. I officially retired after accepting a first place trophy for myself and as a team captain, another first place trophy for The Pit power lifting team. After lifting for years and being mentored by Dick Conner of The Pit, I have gained a wealth of experience and knowledge, all of which had helped me remain injury-free and has helped me in the process of preventing others from injury. |

Gina Garrison
Fitness Instructor/Personal Trainer
I have been a fitness professional for nearly twenty years and personally credit exercise with improved health and well being. I believe exercise should fit into a busy schedule and be fun! (If you don’t like it, you won’t do it.) I love helping beginners to the world of fitness find their path.
I realize the maze of equipment in most gyms can be intimidating at first. An understanding trainer can cut out the anxiety of those first few gym visits and together find the workout for you. Combined with healthful eating, you will see changes. And perhaps the most important changes are the ones you don’t see; improved blood pressure, cholesterol and diabetes control, osteoporosis prevention and stress reduction.

Paula Walters
Certified Personal Trainer, Certified Kickboxing Instructor, Certified Group Exercise Instructor, Triathlete, Board Certified Surgical Technologist, AS
An illness almost took my life October of 2003. My well known athletic abilities were suddenly taken from me and left me temporarily unable to walk without assistance. Persistant pain delayed my drive for rehabilitation. Through the help of my faith, friends, and the new found sport of kickboxing I rehabilitated from my illness. The new challenge was a difficult one, however, the desire to succeed for my daughter was a greater one. Through this experience I have become the instructor, trainer, and triathlete I am today.

Philosophy:
A good instructor and trainer is molded from a piece of each student to whom takes each class or training session. The students will make or break an instructor. The instructor popularity and skill is given to us by the people who participates in our lives. We seek our goals as a group effort . . . no one stands alone.

Bryan Childers
ISSA Certified Personal Fitness Trainer and Certified Specialist in Sports Conditioning
Until recently, most people believed that power athletes were born and not made. That's changed. Modern training techniques can make anyone faster, stronger, and more powerful.
Today, athletes have to be in top shape to be competitive. All athletes can benefit from the services of a personal trainer. The trainer can help athletes be consistent in their training, motivate them, give them a scientifically structured training and nutrition program, and integrate the many aspects of a program into a cohesive strategy for victory.
Personal trainers are valuable at all levels. They can teach middle school and high school athletes the principles of training for strength, power, and endurance. They can also help prepare college or professional athletes for the high demands of elite sport-often determining whether-or-not they make the team. Trainers can also help people reach higher levels of performance in recreational sports, league sports, and professional sports. A personal trainer can also be a motivating factor helping people maintain a healthy lifestyle involving regular exercise, proper nutrition, and reduced stress.
My name is Bryan Childers and I am a Certified Personal Fitness Trainer and a Certified Specialist in Sports Conditioning through the ISSA- the International Sports Sciences Association. If you want to improve your speed, strength, explosiveness, and endurance please feel free to contact me. Together we can take your game-whether it is life or sport- to the next level.
